The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might appear mismatched, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and fled to a secure base in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as important members in House Halovar could enable the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Explorers and Planners groups.

Audiences can expect learning which characters will be where in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
